To our guests, friends, members, and family:

For more than five decades, this stretch of the Gulf has brought people together, first as the Beach Club, and for the last era of its life, as Vue on 30a. It has hosted anniversaries and rehearsal dinners, sunset toasts and Sunday lunches, first dates and fiftieth ones. So many of you have a memory that lives on this property, and we know that makes what we have to share difficult.

As of September 2026, Vue on 30a is permanently closed.

During routine maintenance, our team identified conditions that warranted a closer look, and we moved immediately to bring in outside professionals to assess the building. That evaluation found water intrusion and related indoor air quality issues affecting portions of the property. These conditions could be remediated, but doing so would require a significant financial investment and an extended timeline, in a building already slated for replacement under the Club’s long-range beachfront master plan. Rather than make that investment in a building with a limited future, our Board of Directors made the difficult decision to close permanently, out of an abundance of caution for our members, our guests, and our staff.

This was not a decision made lightly, as it has been a gathering place through every chapter of Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club’s history and the community since 1971.
